“Sister Citizen” – Exploring Black Womanhood and Calling Out Stereotypes

This was an interesting article that addresses some problematic issues we face as black women in this country.  I am putting Sister Citizen: Shame, Stereotypes and Black Women in America by Melissa Harris-Perry on my to read list and will do a follow-up post about the book.
